Many Awards, Many Reasons to Be Thankful

The only thing better than celebrating the holidays with our construction industry peers is having several TDPartners recognized for their outstanding work. On December 2, 2016, TDIndustries was awarded three times over for project, safety and personal work to advance the merit-shop construction industry at TEXO Association’s Holiday and Awards Gala. The awards are testaments to the positive impact our Partners are making in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

For their excellent work on the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center expansion, the project team earned a Distinguished Building Award in the Mechanical 3 (over $10 million) category. Because of TD’s level of collaboration, prefabrication excellence, and our work on the mechanical & plumbing scope, the hospital opened on-time to serve the Mansfield community.

TD was also awarded with a 2016 Platinum Construction Safety Excellence Award for having a positive culture that promotes the safety and well-being of all field crews and for maintaining good safety measurements.

On the personal front, Maureen Underwood, Executive Vice President of our People department (Human Resources), was honored with a Magnolia award. An anonymous nomination was submitted on her behalf, and Maureen was chosen for her personal career performance, leadership presence, and active commitment to being a role model for women in construction. Truly, this is a well-deserved award for an outstanding TDPartner! (Read more about our commitment to gender parity in the workplace.)
